We thought you might like to know a little
about Susan River Homestead and the people that will be looking
after you when you decide to holiday with us. Susan River
Homestead was built by Norm McLean and his family in 1976.
It opened its doors for the first time in 1978. Take a look
round the homestead with our virtual

The Mcleans are a happy fun loving family with a lust for
life and like to have fun where-ever they find it.

Norman better known as "Norm" head of the
McLean family & 5 Sons (in order) Glenn, Cameron,Scott,Travis,
Guy & Daughter Skye.

The McLeans treat everyone as part of a very large extended
family starting with the employees Carol, Darren & Kellie
right thru to guests that have returned to SRH and become
friends and from friends now hold the title of the McLeans
extended family.

Travis
works in an around the homestead taking people for horserides
and water-skiing. He has a real zest for Aussie Rules
football and adventure in any form. He is continually
surprising both the guests and the staff (not to mention
his dad!) with his next big thing - currently a light
aircraft (need we say more)

Cameron
the quiet achiever with a wicked sense of humor and
a smile permanently on his dial. His family, Michelle
his wife and Abby-Kate a precious three year old with
all the best McLean traits to call her own and not to
forget to the third generation McLean, Nicholas who
has the infamous McLean smile to guide him thru life

time to time

Guy
Current Aust Bush Poet Champ & Leading Horse Educator
- Most wouldn't beleive his horse "Nuggett"
is a stallion. The bond is so strong between the two
Guys uses neither a Saddle or Bridle when perfoming
with Nuggett a truly marvelous sight and a wonderful
experience.

Glenn
traveller extraodinaire who's always on the lookout
for fun, quick witted and loves to laugh. He is also
very camera shy. We took this one when he wasn't looking
while he was working in the kitchen.

Scott
worked at the SRH for six years until he joined the
Movie world crew in the "wild west show".
He now appears in commercials and is also a fully qualified
stuntman in Sydney - watch for him on your tv.

Skye
the baby of the family and the perennial traveller who
loves to come home to enjoy the family and the Homestead
